Matheus Nunes names four Man City teammates he tries to learn from
Matheus Nunes believes he deserves to be at Man City but has confessed that he still has several aspects to work on, identifying four teammates he tries to feed off.
The Portugal star has not started a Premier League game for his new club since being taken off at half-time in the defeat to former employers Wolves in September. He has since been limited to just over an hour’s worth of league minutes, although started both Champions League games against Young Boys, as well as the opening win over Red Star Belgrade.
Injury during the last international break hampered his chances of game time in recent weeks but he came on for the final 22 minutes in Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa. He will be hoping to tally his 12th City appearance against lowly Luton Town on Sunday.

"I still need to improve some things, but if Pep [Guardiola] believes I should be here there is no reason why I shouldn't,” Nunes told Sky Sports. "I want to score more goals, recover more balls, get more assists. But he improves every player who comes into the team, and I will be no different."
Nunes says he is always looking to bolster his game having learned the level of performance Guardiola requires of his players. The 25-year-old named four stars who he tries to emulate while hailing the abilities of goalkeeper Ederson.
"If I thought this squad was good from the outside, they are even better seeing them every day," Nunes stated. "You can see why they won the treble. Everyone is so talented - even Ederson could play as a midfielder.
