Mary Earps takes subtle swipe at Manchester United after PSG move

England goalkeeper Mary Earps says she is hoping to add "a few more trophies to the cabinet" after leaving Manchester United to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Earps joined the Reds in 2019 and helped the club win the FA Cup last year. Earps is not the only player to have left United this summer, with captain Katie Zelem and forward Lucia Garcia also having departed. Reflecting last month on her decision to move overseas, Earps wrote on Instagram: "The club is about to undergo a period of transition, and unfortunately I don’t feel it aligns with the timing of where I’m
