Marvin Humes fights tears over family update after saying 'this is mad' to huge career news

Marvin Humes was left fighting tears as his wife Rochelle shared a big family update. The JLS star was emotional as his other half documented their children's return to school.

The family had enjoyed a busy summer which included holidays and their three youngsters - Alaia-Mai, Valentina and Blake - getting to see their dad back on stage in a string of summer shows with his boyband.

But it was back to the usual routine and like many parents up and down the country, Rochelle and Marvin were watching their children head off to school with a couple of big moves thrown in for the little Humes'.

On Thursday (September 5), Rochelle revealed it was a big day for her and husband Marvin's eldest daughter, Alaia-Mai, as she was officially starting secondary school.

Sharing a snap of her in her uniform alongside youngster sister Valentina to her Instagram Story, the This Morning star penned: "And they're off," alongside a face holding back tears emoji.

She then continued: "Alaia's first day of SECONDARY school today [crying face emoji]. A big year 7! Valle is now in year 3 which means it's her first day in the other building! It's all happening SO far. Valle's first class today is games which she is SO excited about (hence PE kit). Good luck girlies... Will miss us hanging every day."

JLS star Marvin then reshared the post and said in view of his own fans and followers: "Proud of them," alongside a love heart eyes emoji. But it was Rochelle's next update about their son Blake that left Marvin almost in tears.

Rochelle, 35, went on to share a picture of their son Blake ready for his own first day. Alongside the
