Martin Odegaard has spoken about how he has helped the development of Arsenal youngsters Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka.

Odegaard enjoyed an extremely productive performance during the 3-2 win against Watford on Sunday afternoon, netting the opener - his fifth Premier League goal of the season.

The 22-year-old has delivered a number of consistent performances in recent times to help the Gunners climb up to fourth in the current Premier League standings, an impressive feat considering they have three games in hand on fifth-placed Manchester United.

Now, the Norway captain has spoken about the club's summer transfer business as technical director Edu was able to convince him to sign a permanent deal following a short-term loan at the Emirates Stadium last season.

“The club did really well,” he told the PA news agency.
