Marks & Spencer share sneak peek of Trafford Centre megastore's massive new fashion floors
Marks & Spencer has shared a sneak peek at how the fashion floors will look at its huge Trafford Centre megastore. The retailer is in the midst of transforming the vast 98,000 sq ft store that was formerly Debenhams in the shopping mall.
It is set to open to the public in November. But today bosses have unveiled the clothing department design, making it one of the first in the country to feature the retailer’s new-look store layout.
The store will offer shoppers the latest collection for Autumn/Winter across womenswear, kidswear and menswear – with dedicated areas for M&S customer favourites. They will also be selling wares from Jaeger in store, as well as the Per Una and Autograph fashion ranges.

Bosses have also confirmed that new features in store will be the option to skip queues altogether when you've tried your clothes on. For there will be special pay points INSIDE the store's fitting rooms.
Other highlights include a bigger-than-ever M&S Footwear section with a spacious try-on area, making it easy for customers to find the right fit and style, and a transformed M&S Beauty department home to popular brands including the Apothecary collection and Fresh Elements – the new own-brand skincare range from M&S.
Bosses say the new-look, M&S Trafford Centre store represents a "significant investment in the city’s local economy". It follows the retailer’s announcement that it plans to invest around £500 million in its store rotation programme, creating over 3400 new jobs nationwide.
