Mark Bosnich says only three Man Utd players are safe from being sold this summer

Ex-Manchester United player Mark Bosnich believes only three players are safe from being sold this summer with a huge overhaul needed.

A disappointing 1-0 defeat to Everton last time out saw United’s chances of a top-four finish more than likely come to an end with interim boss Ralf Rangnick struggling to get the best out of his players.

Erik ten Hag is the favourite to take charge on a permanent basis in the summer and Bosnich is expecting plenty of new faces to come in and deadwood to be moved on.

The former goalkeeper claims only David de Gea, Raphael Varane and Bruno Fernandes would be safe from not being moved on when looking at how best to build the squad in the summer.

‘It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realise there is a lot of dead wood there, a lot of players who have been there for a long time and seen off a lot of managers’ he told talkSPORT.

‘As far I’m concerned, he’s done his job. He was brought in to score goals.

‘People will say recently he hasn’t scored many, but recently the team haven’t
