Marc Cucurella's representatives 'fly to Manchester' and other Man City transfer rumours

One of Marc Cucurella’s representatives flew to England last week to discuss a move for his client to Manchester City, according to recent reports.

After securing the £51 million signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund on Monday, the Premier League champions have swiftly move on to other key targets. In an attempt to bolster their already star-studded squad, City have been linked with moves for Cucurella and Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips.

According to The Argus, Cucurella’s representative flew to Manchester to discuss a possible move for his client with City's director of football Txiki Begiristain.

Despite Joao Cancelo making the left-back spot his own last season, Oleksandr Zinchenko is considering moving on in search of regular game time. If the Ukrainian were to leave, it would allow the 23-year-old to come in and begin his development under Pep Guardiola.

Elsewhere, Bernardo Silva is 'attracted' by the possibility of signing for Barcelona this summer, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness).

Last season, Guardiola confirmed the Portugal international was one of a number of City stars unhappy at the club, but no acceptable offer was made and the midfielder went on to have another world-class campaign.
