Map of where roads will be closed in Bolton today for celebration walk

Police have released a map of road closures in part of Bolton today ahead of a celebration walk.

The walk, which local officers said is a Prophet Muhammad celebration walk, is set to begin at 2pm on Sunday (October 1). A number of rolling road closures will be in place in the Great Lever area.

These will begin from 1pm from Grecian Crescent towards Bella Street. A post on the GMP Bolton South Facebook page this morning said: "UPDATE | Today there will be rolling road closures from 13:00hrs from Grecian Crescent in Great Lever, towards Bella Street.

"This is due to the Prophet Muhammad celebration walk that is taking place today from 14:00hrs. Please take a look at the picture below for further information.
