Manuel Akanji to keep place and Erling Haaland to start - Man City fans pick Champions League line-up

Manchester City take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League tonight and supporters have had their say on who they think should be in Pep Guardiola's starting XI.

City will be hoping to make it two wins from two in the group stage of this season's competition, after strolling to a 4-0 win against Sevilla last week.

While City's players have had eight days to prepare for Wednesday's match after the postponement of their Premier League fixture against Tottenham, the Blues face a quick turnaround as they travel to Wolves for a 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday.

Ahead of the game Pep Guardiola said that playing two matches in quick succession will be a factor in his team selection, but he made it clear that he will be picking the starting XI he thinks it most capable of beating Borussia Dortmund.

Using our team selector tool, City fans have had their say on who they think should start.

With Kyle Walker ruled out through injury Joao Cancelo of course starts at right-back, but the main takeaway is the inclusion of recent signing Manuel Akanji. The Swiss centre-back impressed on his debut in Seville, and City fans believe he deserves to keep his place in the starting XI despite John Stones and Nathan Ake being available for selection.

MEN readers want to see a midfield trio of Rodri, Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan, with a front three of Bernardo Silva, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden. Haaland - scorer of a brace against Sevilla last week - will be looking to add to his tally of 12 goals already this season.
