For now, there is no end in sight to the United circus. With so many issues unresolved, not least a group of players that have proved time and time again that they are simply not up to the job, even the most optimistic United fan would struggle to see them getting anything against Liverpool on Monday night.

Of course, the fans could almost handle the fact that they are not up to the job if they worked their socks off for the shirt - but their attitude is even worse than their ability levels, so much so that the towel goes in the moment anything goes against them in a game.
