Manchester United vs Liverpool date confirmed as two more Premier League fixtures rearranged

Three of Manchester United's upcoming Premier League fixtures have been rearranged, including the upcoming clash with fierce rivals Liverpool.

United were originally scheduled to face Liverpool this coming weekend before the international break but it had to be rescheduled due to the Merseyside side club's involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals, in which they face Nottingham Forest. Instead, the match will now be played on Tuesday, April 19, with kick-off coming at 8pm. Sky Sports will still be showing the match live.

The fixture has been scheduled in-between a home match against bottom side Norwich City, which will remain a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, April 16, and a trip to top-four rivals Arsenal on Saturday, April 23. The match was originally supposed to kick off at 3pm but has unsurprisingly been moved for television and will now begin at the earlier time of 12:30pm and be broadcast on BT Sport.

Finally, the home encounter with Brentford has seen its date changed and has been moved to a Monday night match. The game will now be held on May 2 with kick-off at 8pm. Sky Sports are set to televise it on Monday Night Football. However, the fixture with the Bees could be moved again should United still be competing in the Champions League come early May.

The dates and kick-off times for United's first two league games after the break were confirmed last month. The visit of Leicester City at Old Trafford will get underway at 5:30pm on Saturday, April 2, while the trip to Everton will be played at 12:30pm seven days later.
