Manchester United vs Crystal Palace UK time, TV channel, live stream and team news

Manchester Unitd and Crystal Palace continue their pre-season preparations on Tuesday when they meet in a friendly at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia.

The Red Devils are enjoying an encouraging start to life under Erik ten Hag, beating Liverpool and Melbourne Victory in their two friendlies so far, scoring eight goals in the process.

The Eagles’ pre-season has been badly disrupted by choosing to tour Singapore and Australia while nine senior players are not able to be on the trip due to either injury or not being vaccinated against Covid.

As a result, the split squad have been playing friendlies back in the UK and on tour, with Palace losing to Liverpool in Singapore last week, but a very different team beat Ipswich in Beckenham the following day.

The match is being played on Tuesday 19 July at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with kick-off at 11.10 UK time.

Both club’s channels will be showing the game live, but you will need a subscription to either Palace TV+ or MUTV to watch the game on TV or streaming online.

New Manchester United signing Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez are not expected to travel to Australia to join their new teammates, with the Red Devils playing Atletico Madrid in Norway next week, which should see them play for the first time.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still not involved as he continues to push for a move away from Old Trafford.

The Palace players not involved in the tour include Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze, Christian Benteke, Marc Guehi, Michael Olise and Jeffrey Schlupp.
