Manchester United vs Crystal Palace LIVE highlights and reaction as Man Utd lose at Old Trafford

Manchester United will play Crystal Palace for the second time this week at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

United began their Carabao Cup defence against Palace with a 3-0 win on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial and the fixture is set to be played again in the Premier League.

Roy Hodgson's side delivered a lifeless performance earlier in the week and Erik ten Hag, speaking after the win, said he expects an 'entirely different' opponent when the two teams clash again in the league.

Regarding the team news, Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay return to the squad, but Ten Hag suffered a double injury blow on Friday when it was confirmed Lisandro Martinez and Sergio Reguilon both have injuries.

Sofyan Amrabat played at left-back in the Carabao Cup and he's set to be deployed there again.

Mason Mount has said United will look at areas to improve following their defeat against Crystal Palace.

United comfortably defeated Palace earlier in the week and Saturday's meeting in the Premier League was an opportunity to secure a third consecutive victory, but it was the away side who drew first blood in the first half.

Sofyan Amrabat conceded a cheap free-kick just before the 25th-minute mark and Palace punished the poor defending in the box, with Joachim Andersen finding the top corner past a helpless Andre Onana in between the sticks.

"Where were you on Tuesday night?" the United supporters asked the Crystal Palace fans. Palace not only turned up this time, they won.
