Manchester United urged to seal double Bayern Munich transfer after Sir Jim Ratcliffe investment
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been urged to pursue a double transfer for Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies.
The Premier League approved Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of a 25 per cent stake in United on Tuesday, which will allow the Ineos group to oversee football operations at Old Trafford. Ahead of the summer transfer window, the Mirror has claimed that the club have six players on their wishlist, including Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite and Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise.
However, former United striker Louis Saha believes the club should be targeting moves for Bayern duo Kimmich and Davies, who will both be entering the final year of their contracts at the end of the season. Saha explained that Kimmich would help strengthen United's midfield, while Davies is renowned for his speed and attacking intent from left-back.

"They are two extremely experienced players, especially Kimmich," he told Betfred. "Kimmich would obviously be a great fit because he's one of the fittest players in Europe and is capable of running games and is very slick. He and Davies are both quality players, there's no doubting that."
Their respective contracts could provide United with a greater chance of snaring the pair away from Bayern but the situation has not gone unnoticed by other clubs Barcelona are said to be admirers of Kimmich and Real Madrid have been tipped with a move for Davies.
