Manchester United travelling squad ahead of West Ham as Erik ten Hag makes January prediction

Manchester United return to Premier League action today when they face West Ham in the Premier League.

It is the start of what will be a busy festive period for Erik ten Hag's men with three fixtures on the horizon before 2023 is over. United travel to London in good spirits thanks to a hard-fought draw at Anfield last weekend.

While Liverpool may have criticised the Reds' approach to the fixture, there is no doubting it was a more affective method than David Moyes' side managed in midweek. On their trip to Merseyside, West Ham were battered 5-1 and United will need to be wary of their opponents showing a response this weekend.

United's players and staff, including Christian Eriksen, have departed the North West en route to London ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture with West Ham.

Eriksen has been sidelined since the November international break with a knee injury. However, the Dane returned to full training on Monday and has boarded the flight for London ahead of tomorrow's game.
