Manchester United transfer news RECAP Erik ten Hag meets Glazers as youngster seals exit

Manchester United kick off their pre-season tour of America today as they face Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side in New Jersey.

Erik ten Hag faced the media yesterday and he had no further injury worries to report, though Anthony Martial remains a doubt. The Frenchman has yet to play for United in pre-season having missed the wins over Leeds and Lyon. Martial was seen in pictures released by the club of their latest training session on Friday, but it's unclear whether he trained with the main group or not.

One man who was pictured hard at work was Andre Onana. The former Inter man has now met up with his new teammates and was put through his paces in the American heat on Friday afternoon. It remains to be seen whether he will make his debut today.

Away from pre-season action, United are on the verge of bolstering their transfer kitty. As revealed by MEN Sport yesterday, Alex Telles is nearing a £6m move to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr. He's unlikely to be the last departure this summer as Ten Hag looks to generate transfer funds.
