After weeks of inactivity, Manchester United look set to seal their first transfers of the Erik ten Hag era.

The Manchester Evening News previously reported that deals in principle had been agreed for Tyrell Malacia and Frenkie de Jong. And it now seems the club are closing out those deals.

Malacia looks set to become Ten Hag’s first signing while De Jong is close to sealing his own switch from Barcelona.

Christian Eriksen has reportedly held positive talks with United albeit the playmaker is biding his time by assessing the Ten Hag’s transfer activity before making a firm decision.

Meanwhile, the club have reportedly been in contact with Lisandro Martinez over a transfer. Ten Hag is now turning his attention to other targets as his rebuild continues.

Manchester United are already moving on to other targets in the transfer window as they wait to finalise their first signings of the summer.

United are aiming to complete the signings of Frenkie de Jong and Tyrell Malacia before they fly to Bangkok for the start of their pre-season tour on July 8.

United have agreed fees for the Netherlands internationals, who have been on holiday following their involvement in the June round of Nations League matches.

Tyrell Malacia has agreed a five-year deal with Manchester United and will be unvieled as Erik ten Hag's first signing.

That's according to the Telegraph, which says his medical could be undertaken as early as this weekend.

It adds that a £13m fee has been agreed with Feyenoord, with the
