Erik ten Hag will then just have a Wembley FA Cup final against Manchester City standing between him and the summer transfer window, with a number of targets already having been drawn up by the United boss.
United may need to change their plans for bringing in a new centre-forward, however, with the club now working under the assumption that Tottenham will not part ways with Harry Kane.
