Cristiano Ronaldo was seen returning to Manchester United's Carrington training ground on Tuesday after spending two days in Portugal.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was left out of the squad against Manchester City on Sunday due to injury, and is understood to have jetted off to Lisbon on the same day.

Plenty of rumours have been flying around over Ronaldo's absence on derby day, and the extent of his injury is yet to be made clear.

He could well be fit though for the clash against Tottenham on Saturday, providing he's able to train as normal this week.

Marcus Rashford is reportedly being eyed up by Paris Saint-Germain as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappe this summer.
