Manchester United could be bracing themselves for another busy day.

Yesterday, the Reds released a statement following allegations of assault aimed towards winger Antony. It read: "Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the Police are conducting enquiries.

"Pending further information, the club will be making no further comments. As a club we are taking this matter seriously, with consideration of the impact of these allegations and subsequent reporting will have on survivors of abuse."

Elsewhere, Erik ten Hag will continue to deal with the fallout surrounding Jadon Sancho. The Englishman described the manager's claims regarding his work ethic in training as 'untrue' and declared he had been made a 'scapegoat'.

A report on Wednesday claimed a bid from Saudi Arabia had been made for Sancho. The winger remains under contract until 2026.
