The summer transfer window will open in just four days' time allowing Manchester United to begin their business.

New manager Erik ten Hag has got a big window on his hands as he looks to put his own stamp on a squad that put in the club's worst-ever Premier League campaign last term.

Plenty of players have been linked with United in the run-up to the window to fill their troubled positions - namely centre-midfield, centre-back and up-front - but no deals have been sealed yet.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to being named the club’s Player of the Year.

“Thanks to all the fans who voted for me,” Ronaldo posted. “I couldn’t be more proud of winning the Sir Matt Busby Award in my comeback year to Old Trafford and to the Premier League.
