Manchester United transfer news LIVE Cristiano Ronaldo latest and reaction to Omonia Nicosia win

Fans may have been hoping for a new striker in January but Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford showed against Omonia why they need not worry.

They dug the Reds out of a sticky situation in Cyprus, their goals helping the visitors to overturn a 1-0 deficit at the break to see them run out 3-2 victors. Rashford is now on five for the season while Martial found the net in Europe for the first time this campaign thanks to Rashford's assist.

His future at the club still remains unclear with unsurprising rumours of a January exit already starting to stir. He has scored just once this season despite starting all three Europa League games.

Victor Lindelof

Got outpaced a couple of times and was out of the picture for the goal but that was hardly his fault. 6
