Manchester United takeover news LIVE Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim latest as Glazers set third bidding deadline

Prospective new owners of Manchester United will enter a third round of bidding at the end of this month as the Raine Group call for final offers.

The exact nature of the injury has not yet been confirmed, but he is thought to have gone for a scan earlier this week.

TODAY'S BIG TALKING POINT: Are the Glazers dragging out the takeover process unnecessarily? Have your say here.
