Manchester United takeover news LIVE plus Eriksen injury latest and Harry Kane transfer talk

Manchester United's players will begin filtering back to Carrington this week following the round of international fixtures.

England continued their perfect start to the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over Ukraine thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka. Harry Maguire played the full 90 minutes while Luke Shaw missed out through suspension.

Erik ten Hag will also be hopeful of having Christian Eriksen back soon, though it won't be in time for Sunday's trip to Newcastle.

Offering an update on his progress, Eriksen told United's official website: "Yeah, it is going well. I have just started being outside as you saw [on Instagram] with football boots on.

"And then we take it from there, that is the next step. I have been in the gym for some weeks now and now it is time to do the next rehab session outside."
