Manchester United suffer Marcus Rashford injury scare in latest blow to Erik ten Hag

Manchester United have been handed yet another injury scare on their United States tour.

After scoring in their pre-season friendly against Spanish side Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium, in San Diego, Academy graduate Marcus Rashford was forced off upon the restart. Rashford - who started the game and looked lively before netting from the penalty spot - hobbled down the tunnel upon the restart.

It was an unnerving sight for Erik ten Hag and supporters watching on from the UK, especially after the double injury setback suffered by Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund in their last game. United will be without those two players for three months and a few weeks respectively after they went down with foot and muscular problems.

An update on Rashford will be provided after the final whistle. Ten Hag is due to speak with the media post-match after skipping the usual pre-match formalities in San Diego.
