Manchester United's transfer plans, Mauricio Pochettino's PSG future and Marcus Rashford latest

Manchester United will be desperate to correct the wrongs from last weekend's 4-1 defeat to Manchester City when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

United, who beat Spurs 3-0 in the reverse fixture back in October, offered encouragement in the first-half at the Etihad Stadium, despite trailing 2-1 at the break. However, they collapsed in the second-half and were simply outclassed by their cross-city rivals, who scored twice through Riyad Mahrez to complete a 4-1 rout.

Following Arsenal's win earlier in the day, United had already dropped out of the top-four, meaning they are now one point behind the Gunners in the table. The prospect of missing out on the top-four is increasing concerns around the football club, especially amongst the supporters, and understandably so.

This coming summer promises to be the biggest United have faced in years. As well as a new manager needing to be appointed, big changes also need to take place within the first-team squad.

On Thursday, MEN Sport's chief United writer, Samuel Luckhurst, hosted a Q&A in an attempt to try and answer as many questions as possible that United's supporters had for him, ranging from Ralf Rangnick's successor to the future of Marcus Rashford.

Q: I've read a lot about [Cristiano] Ronaldo this past week. What is the kind of relationship Ronaldo and Rangnick share? When playing for Portugal, one can always see Ronaldo being the top figurehead besides the manager.

Does Ronaldo hold a similar position in the dressing room currently? Also, any truth in the players being surprised he flew to Portugal over the weekend? Thanks.
