Here are your Wednesday evening Manchester United headlines.

Rashford injury update

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford will be unavailable 'for a few games' with a muscle injury and he's uncertain to recover from the problem in time to play Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final later this month. Rashford was forced to leave the pitch in the 80th minute of United's win against Everton at the weekend.

Ten Hag on Martial

Erik ten Hag insists Anthony Martial is ready to start for Manchester United as he approaches three months since he last lined up for the team.

Ten Hag has not named Martial in the United starting XI since the Manchester derby against City on January 14 and the Frenchman sustained a hip injury that forced him off at half-time in that win. He has been back in full training for five weeks and has come off the bench in the last three games, scoring the clincher in the 2-0 defeat of Everton on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has claimed seven goals in 17 appearances for United this term but has not completed 90 minutes in the Premier League since January 2021.
