Manchester United protest LIVE: Fans take to Old Trafford streets against owners - updates

Manchester United fans will be protesting against Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Ineos and the Glazer family's ownership of the club ahead of today's Premier League clash with Fulham.

The march, organised by The 1958 fan group, will begin at two meeting points - one at the top of Sir Matt Busby Way where the street meets Chester Road and the other at Hotel Football. The two marches will then meet at The Trinity Statue outside Old Trafford prior to kick off.

While United's results have improved under Michael Carrick, The 1958 insist the protest is fuelled by the treatment of match going supporters. At the beginning of the season, there were plans for a protest against the ownership group but these were postponed due to a lack of support from members.

The protest will begin at 1pm. We will be bringing you live updates from the protest in the blog below

He said:

I'm not offended by it or anything, and the players certainly aren't, I think.

Within the stadium, the support we've felt, and that's been there
