Manchester United press conference live Amad speaks before Real Betis clash and USA tour latest

Manchester United will host a pre-match press conference on Tuesday evening to look ahead to their pre-season friendly against Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, with Amad speaking to the media.

Unlike the usual pre-match format, United have confirmed that manager Erik ten Hag will not make an appearance in front of the media, instead leaving the responsibility to the player.

The Reds lost the opening game of their tour of the United States over the weekend, being beaten 2-1 by Arsenal. Gabriel Jesus cancelled out Rasmus Hojlund's opener before substitute Gabriel Martinelli netted a late winner for the Gunners.

United have now lost two of their opening three friendlies this summer. The result, however, was the least important aspect of the clash with the Londoners, with the contest overshadowed by the losses of Hojlund and Leny Yoro to injury issues.

Both players were forced off before the half-time interval, meaning Hojlund's first outing of pre-season was cut short. United are yet to confirm the extent of their injuries.
