Manchester United player ratings vs Man City with one 4/10 but Bruno Fernandes good

The 196th Manchester derby ended all square as Manchester United drew 0-0 with Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Alejandro Garnacho spurned the best chance of the first half when he failed to convert Diogo Dalot’s cross. Garnacho seemed to be unsure whether to head the cross or hit it and in the end he did neither.

Joshua Zirkzee was introduced in the second half and he went close to opening the scoring with a decent left-footed effort but Ederson denied the Dutchman. United continued to push for a winner but were unable to break the deadlock.

Andre Onana

His distribution was a source of frustration for supporters again. Beat away Omar Marmoush's second-half free kick. 6

Leny Yoro

Switched to the left of the back three after playing on the right against Nottingham Forest. Had little trouble from City. 7

Noussair Mazraoui

Back on the right of the back three and back to a better level of performance. Superbly denied Phil Foden but troubled a bit by Jeremy Doku. 6

Diogo Dalot

Crossed perfectly for Garnacho, who botched the best chance of the first half. Did little wrong all afternoon. 6

Manuel Ugarte

Erratic with the ball and mishit a volley when Bruno Fernandes clipped the ball over. Went closer with a cleaner-struck volley in the second half. 5

Casemiro

Retained his starting place and was able to keep up with City's fellow 30-somethings in one of the most sedate derbies of Pep Guardiola's time in Manchester. 6

Patrick Dorgu

Wasted a presentable opening from Garnacho's pull-back and guilty of some
