Man City player ratings vs Manchester United with one 7/10 as five struggle in drab draw

Manchester City drew 0-0 with Manchester United in a game that does them nothing. Kevin De Bruyne played out his final Manchester derby in a game that felt more like the level of a testimonial as both sides struggled to produce any quality.

City were nearly behind inside a minute, with Ruben Dias given a yellow card for hauling Alejandro Garnacho down on the edge of the box as the United forward raced through. The Blues recovered their composure, although Pep Guardiola was left frustrated at how little they did in possession.

Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish and Rico Lewis were all brought on in the second half to try and influence the game, but it was United who finished the game the stronger. Here are the player ratings from the game.

Ederson: Very little to do for the second game in a row, but made an important save from Zirkzee in the final 15 minutes. 7

Nunes: A good header in the second half to clear the danger, but struggled up against Garnacho and Dorgu despite having Silva to help. 5

Dias: Walked a tightrope after being booked inside the first minutes but recovered well, with an important block in the second half. 6

Silva: Has had stick this season for not seeming to do very much, but this was another game where he was used in multiple positions and helped out wherever he was needed. 6
