Manchester United player ratings vs Newcastle with a 3/10 as Ruben Amorim's side battered

Manchester United made it three Premier League games without a win as they lost 4-1 to Newcastle on Sunday.

Alexander Isak teed up Sandro Tonali to hand the home side the lead after some sloppy play from Manuel Ugarte gifted Newcastle possession in a dangerous area.

Alejandro Garnacho brought United level with a composed finish after he’d been played through by Diogo Dalot but Newcastle regained the advantage early in the second half through Harvey Barnes.

Altay Bayindir deputised in Andre Onana’s absence and his shocking clearance led to Bruno Guimaraes extending his side’s lead.

Diogo Dalot

Did well for Alejandro Garnacho's goal but was far too easily bypassed for Barnes to put Newcastle ahead again. On the back foot in the second half. 5

Manuel Ugarte

A poorer performance than in Lyon. Amorim was often on his case and he played United into trouble for the first
