Manchester United player Bruno Fernandes told why he’s 'getting on teammates’ nerves'

Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has launched an astonishing attack on Bruno Fernandes, who he says 'must get on people's nerves' because he 'moans a lot'.

Fernandes has enjoyed a productive season in a United shirt this term, scoring six times and providing seven assists for his teammates and is often seen wearing the captain's armband in Harry Maguire's absence, but he has also received heavy criticism from pundits for his antics and body language on the pitch.

A clip circulated on social media following United's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Old Trafford last week in which fans have suggested Jadon Sancho told Fernandes to 'stop moaning' after failing with a backheel pass to Tyrell Malacia.

And now Parker, who played for United 105 times and scored one goal for the club, has thrown his support behind Sancho over the incident - even going as far as saying that Portugal international Fernandes 'shouldn't be captain' when Harry Maguire is not playing.

Speaking to MyBettingSites, Parker said: “Well, the situation about Jadon Sancho telling Bruno Fernandes to stop moaning blew up because of social media. It happens a lot in football, and I have definitely said it to even Roy Keane, Paul Ince and Peter Schmeichel when I played.

“It’s one of the things that you say on a football pitch and when you’re in the dressing room after the match, you will laugh about it 99 times out of 100.

“I think that everyone knows that Fernandes moans a lot. He never stops moaning and he must get on people's nerves. He must do, it’s impossible for him not to.
