Manchester United need to sell three players if they want to complete their dream £60m transfer

Just one match now stands between Manchester United and the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

United brought the curtain down on an underwhelming Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium yesterday. Focus for the Reds now switches to Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Once Saturday is out of the way, full focus will switch to the transfer window and what promises to be one of the most intriguing summers in the club's recent history. Sales are forecasted to reach double figures and United desperately need to add fresh legs to key areas of the squad.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News last month, United are targeting three key signings as a minimum. The club has made the additions of a centre-back, a central midfielder and a forward their leading priorities.

United have been linked with a collection of players in each of the aforementioned positions and rumours are only going to increase the closer we get to the transfer window opening.

One of the players linked with United on a consistent basis in recent months is Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise. The attacker is reportedly attracting a wealth of interest ahead of the window opening, with Palace understood to be demanding £60m for the Frenchman.

Despite his injury struggles this season, Olise has plundered a very respectable 10 goals in just 19 Premier League matches. He has also chalked up six assists, meaning it is easy to understand why United would be so keen on him. At the age of just 22, Olise is a player whose career is on an upward trajectory.
