Manchester United learn Bayern Munich stance on Marcel Sabitzer and more transfer rumours

Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to sell Marcel Sabitzer to Manchester United for less than they signed the midfielder for less than two years ago.

Sabitzer, 29, joined United on a season-long loan during January's transfer deadline day and has made 10 appearances since. The Austria international scored what proved to be the winning goal against Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Much has changed in Munich since the midfielder's temporary departure was sanctioned, with Thomas Tuchel replacing Julian Nagelsmann during the March international break. Sabitzer was signed by the latter after working together at RB Leipzig.

Two years since leaving Leipzig, Sabitzer seems set to be on the move again. German outlet SPORT1 reports Bayern are asking for a transfer fee of between €15million and €20m (£13.2m and £17.6m) to do a deal. The lower end of that price point would see the Bavarian giants take a loss on the €16m (£14.1m) they paid in August 2021.

In Portugal, A Bola are reporting Benfica will only part with Goncalo Ramos this summer should the Portugal international's €120million (£105.67m) release clause be met. Instead, the Champions League quarter-finalists plan to offer the centre-forward a pay rise.

Another Portuguese outlet, Record, stated earlier this week that such a sum does not scare United from doing business. Ramos has scored 28 goals for club and country this season.
