Manchester United have a Marcus Rashford problem that Harry Kane can help solve
Manchester United's reliance on Marcus Rashford's goals has been highlighted in a recent study that shows Erik ten Hag's side would be down the table without their top scorer.
The 25-year-old is enjoying his best season in front of goal for United, scoring 27 times across all competitions. Rashford has 14 in the Premier League, three short of the 17 scored during the 2019–20 campaign under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and still with a dozen matches remaining.
United sit third in the table and briefly flirted with a title challenge thanks to the England international's exploits in front of goal. The outlook, as you would perhaps expect, would be drastically different without Rashford's goals.

Buzz Casino have analysed how the Premier League table would look discounting goals from every club's top scorer. Harry Kane has 21 league goals for a Spurs side who have long relied on the England captain. United's interest in the striker is well-documented. The prospect of him joining forces with Rashford at Old Trafford seems a sure-fire way for the club to reduce their reliance on one player for goals. Napoli's Victor Osimhen is another centre-forward continually linked as an alternative to Kane, having scored 25 goals this season for the runaway league leaders in Italy.
