Manchester United fans did something last season that could seal Christian Eriksen transfer

The dust has now settled on Richard Arnold's discussion with Manchester United fans. The unanimous verdict from the covertly recorded footage is that Arnold deserves respect for talking to supporters, but that his words have no value without action.

Arnold discussed the Glazers, protests against the ownership, transfer strategy and more. There was a moment in the viral footage when Arnold talked about the structure of transfers and said: "Here's the money. Murtough was appointed United's inaugural football director last year and he's been given more power following Arnold's promotion to chief executive. Ed Woodward was hands-on with transfers during his time as executive vice-chairman and Arnold is aware of his predecessor's mistakes. Murtough is responsible for recruitment and he liaisons with Ten Hag on the matter.
