Manchester United fan sentenced after sick chant during recent Liverpool clash

A Manchester United fan who chanted 'murderers' at Liverpool supporters is one of two people who have appeared in court and been sentenced after mocking disasters.

He was handed a 12 month community order with 20 rehabilitation requirement days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He also received a fine, and was ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge totalling £319.

Another Reds' supporter was then arrested at the Premier League clash between the old rivals.
