Manchester United enter race for Bayern Munich defender and other transfer rumours
Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez.
According to Fichajes, United, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all willing to battle it out for the French international. Bayern spent €80million (£70m) on the defender back in 2019 when he signed from Atletico Madrid.
Ronald Koeman was believed to be interested in him when he was the manager at Camp Nou but Bayern were unwilling to sell Hernandez at that time. However, after an underwhelming campaign with the German giants, they are believed to be open to moving him on.

Hernandez has made 27 appearances for Bayern in all competitions this season. The Frenchman is contracted until 2024 and United have been warned the 26-year-old will not come cheap.
Elsewhere, Mauricio Pochettino is believed to have laid out his demands if he is to become United manager. The Daily Mail claim that the Argentine needs convincing that he is United's number one target if he is to move to Old Trafford.
MEN Sport understands United are assessing both Pochettino and Erik ten Hag as they look to appoint a permanent boss. However, talkSPORT claimed last week that Pochettino would be interested in a move back to Tottenham should the position become available.
