Manchester United 'enquire' about Jonathan Tah transfer as £100m stance emerges

Manchester United could be set for a busy end to the summer transfer window if reports are to be believed.

United have already made their first signing of the summer with the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee. The striker has signed a contract until 2029 with the option of a further year after a deal was agreed with Bologna.

Now attention for United will turn to the possibility of further new additions. Matthijs de Ligt, Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro are all known targets for the Reds before the transfer window closes.

United are being linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah. The centre-back has been widely expected to join Bayern Munich this summer, but now a fresh update has emerged claiming the Reds are in the running.

Sky Germany have reported that United have made contact with Leverkusen enquiring about the possibility of signing Tah. No offer has been made as things stand, the report claims, with United gaining confidence in a deal with Bayern Munich yet to agree a deal.

Elsewhere, United are continuing to be linked with signing Benfica midfielder Joao Neves. However, an update has emerged claiming that the Reds may not sign the Portugal international after all.
