Manchester United's number one transfer priority this summer is simple: buy a proven goalscorer.
United's woes up front last season have been well documented. Only four teams scored less than United in the Premier League last term and three of those teams will begin August in the Championship.
Forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee managed just seven league goals between them last season and it is pretty clear that neither player is a safe bet to score the goals to help United challenge at the top end of the Premier League again this season.

At face value, that seems a steal for a forward with such a good goalscoring record. But both Hojlund and Zirkzee had impressed in Serie A before struggling to hit those heights at United.
