Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag faces three selection dilemmas ahead of Tottenham clash

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is preparing his side for the trip to north London to face Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds boss will be looking to secure back-to-back wins after Monday's victory over Wolves. Despite the three points, the performance at Old Trafford raised some concerns.

Ten Hag's side lacked fluidity and struggled to create clear-cut chances with Wolves being the more threatening team for most of the match. With the Reds boss wanting a better performance, the Manchester Evening News has taken a look at what changes he could make for the trip to the capital.

The United boss may be forced to make a change in defence with Lisandro Martinez being replaced by Victor Lindelof at half-time vs Wolves. It was thought Martinez was taken off for tactical reasons with the Argentina international picking up a yellow card in the first half.

However, speaking after the game, Raphael Varane revealed his centre-back partner came off due to an injury. The Frenchman told BBC Sport: "A little problem on his ankle, tendon. We'll see how he is this week."

Andre Onana is nailed on to keep his spot in the starting XI, while Varane will also keep his place. Aaron Wan-Bissaka impressed, getting a rare assist for Varane's goal, while Luke Shaw is also certain to retain his place.

Ten Hag may look to tweak his midfield. The trio of Mason Mount, Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro was easily bypassed by the Wolves players last time out.
