Manchester United announce brilliant subsidised ticket plan for FA Cup final vs Man City

Manchester United have announced they will subsidise ticket prices for season ticket holders under the age of 16 who attend next month's FA Cup final at Wembley.

United, who reached the final via a penalty shoutout triumph over Coventry City last weekend, have said they will contribute £30 to the cost of every ticket purchased by an under-16 season ticket holder who will be making the trip to the capital. The Reds, for the second season running, will face neighbours Manchester City in the showpiece event.

The £30 contribution from the club means young supporters will be able to attend the all-Manchester encounter from as little as £5. The ticket subsidy, which is in addition to the £10 reduction the Football Association [FA] applies, adds to a range of club policies to make following United as accessible as possible for youngsters.

Working alongside the Fans' Forum, we are delighted to make this dream a more affordable reality for our under 16 season ticket holders by subsidising their tickets so they can attend for as little as £5.

"Promoting and investing in youth is part of the fabric of this football club and we are proud to offer more support to our young fans.
