Great British Bake Off's Paul Hollywood seen swinging from a building in unrecognisable move away from tent

It appears Paul Hollywood is going from being a baker's hero to a superhero as he makes a move away from the famous tent we're used to seeing him in. The Great British Bake Off star has been spotted dangling from the side of a building in an almost unrecognisable appearance.

Paul, who is a judge in the hit Channel 4 baking competition show, was spotted in a Marvel style suit which included the prerequisite cape. While the outfit appeared quite bulky, Paul appeared comfortable as he flashed a subtle grin as he was snapped walking around in the eye-catching costume.

The baker is believed to be filming a commercial for the price comparison website Compare The Market in London and appeared hoisted into the air for a flying scene.

In one picture, he can be seen flailing around on a harness after making a leap of faith before he was left dangling at the side of the building from what appeared to be a crane. However, at one point he did appear to be doing his best Spiderman impression with his arms and legs poised in a web-shooting stance.

The TV star follows in the footsteps of movie heavyweights such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicole Kidman and Macaulay Culkin who have previously appeared in adverts for the company alongside the company's popular Meerkat characters.

He is said to be the first big-name Brit to sign for the brand and when news of his new gig was announced, a source reportedly told The Sun: "This is particularly surprising given that the Bake Off judge very rarely lends his name to anything or takes part in campaigns."
