Juventus ‘plot’ Mason Greenwood approach as Manchester United eye Casemiro replacement
Juventus are the latest club to be linked with holding interest in Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood.
Atletico Madrid are another entity said to be keeping the 22-year-old on their radar while two Premier League outfits have reportedly made contact with United over the player, who has 10 goals and six assists in 32 appearances on loan at Getafe.
Charges against him of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm - allegations Greenwood has always denied - were dropped in February last year. United stated in August following an internal investigation that the footballer would not continue his career at Old Trafford.

However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe in February left the door open for Greenwood’s return, stating that a “process” will be carried out before making a decision on his future. Greenwood has just over 12 months left on his United contract.
Now, Gazetta says that Juventus are considering an approach for Greenwood. It says the club have been tracking Greenwood’s progress in Spain as they brace for the departures of several players, which could open up space on the right.
United have two windows left to sell the player before his deal expires and he leaves for free. From January, he would be able to speak to potential suitors about a permanent move, including current club Getafe, who have expressed interest.
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo claims that Erik ten Hag’s interest in Frenkie De Jong is unmoved and may re-approach Barcelona for the midfielder this summer if still in situ,
