Manchester United and Adidas launch new terrace-inspired Originals collection

A new Manchester United and Adidas collaboration that is celebrating terrace wear in the late 1980s and early 90s has been released.

The new range has been branded as a reimagining and features a contemporary twist on classic designs worn by the club's fans during that iconic era. The collection features a fresh take on a hoodie, t-shirts, and a bench jacket, however, the highlight piece is the Man Utd x Originals third jersey which is a reissue of the kit worn during the 1988-90 seasons.

The blue shirt, which is priced at £80, was used as third choice over the seasons when United were building up to become the most powerful club in England and has been styled as a rarity from the club's back catalogue of jerseys. The collection also includes a bench jacket that is directly inspired by the one worn by Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1990s - which comes in at £130.

An eye-catching retro hoodie, which is a reinterpreted version of the off-pitch hoodie worn by the players, is also available and has been modelled by Lisandro Martinez in a newly-released video celebrating the new collection and this is now on sale for £80. There are also an array of 'Old Trafford' Adidas Originals T-shirts as part of the collection, which feature the instantly recognisable trefoil logo, for £30 each. The Man Utd x Originals collection is now available to purchase and you can find out more and buy from the collection here.
