Manchester United agree to sell Andreas Pereira and other transfer rumours

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal with Flamengo to sell Andreas Pereira to them.

Pereira is currently on loan at the Brazilian giants who have an option to buy as part of his loan deal.

Flamengo were looking to bring down the price of the central midfielder over the weekend, according to reports in Brazil.

UOL Sport via Stretty News are now reporting that a deal in the region of €14m has been agreed between the two clubs.

The 26-year-old is believed to be set to sign a contract until 2026 in his home country.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils continue to be linked to Barcelona's Ronald Araujo over in Spain.

Sport reports that the situation is becoming increasingly concerning for Camp Nou officials due to the player's contract running out in 2023.

The Uruguayan is unlikely to leave the club on a free at the end of the season but those in the Barca hierarchy are believed to feel obliged to sell Araujo in the summer due to his contract.

United, as well as Chelsea and Liverpool, are all reported to be interested in the 22-year-old centre back.

Elsewhere, The Sun reports that Paul Pogba is set to extend his stay at Manchester United under one condition.

The paper claims that the French midfielder, who is out of contract at the end of the season, will stay at the Theatre of Dreams if Ralf Rangnick is appointed the club's permanent manager.

They claim that Pogba is convinced that Rangnick would be willing to build a midfield around him.

Manchester Evening News understands that Pogba's future at Old Trafford is yet to be discussed at the moment.

Rangnick has added that none of the out-of-contract players have been spoken to about their futures as of yet.
