Manchester gay nightclub says it 'will not tolerate' abuse after staff member posted racist meme online

A gay nightclub in Manchester has said it 'will not tolerate' abuse after a member of its staff posted a racist meme online.

The staff member has since left the business following an investigation, the venue confirmed.

Popular club Cruz 101, based in the heart of Manchester's gay village, took to social media to say it does 'not condone any form of racism'.

In an update on Friday, the club said: "Earlier this week a member of our staff made a serious error of judgement and shared a racist post on Instagram.
