Fire crews are currently responding to a blaze at at an apartment block in Manchester City Centre.
A number of emergency services have descended on Whitworth Street West in response to the ongoing incident.
Pictures from the scene show a number of fire engines parked near to the scene, with the area taped off by Greater Manchester Fire Service.
