Man Utd ‘will be in the race’ for £103m ‘machine’ at Old Trafford

Manchester United will be in the ‘race’ for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham when he becomes available, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The 19-year-old has been linked with several top clubs from across the continent and could depart the Signal Iduna Park next summer as he looks to take the next step in his promising career.

A recent report from The Athletic has stated that United’s fierce rivals Liverpool are ‘very interested’ in snapping Bellingham up in 12 months’ time, although they are far from his only potential suitors.

It’s claimed that Real Madrid, Chelsea and the Red Devils are also closely monitoring the England international’s situation, and Dortmund will surely be hoping a bidding war ensues between them.

A fee of £103 million is believed to be what the Bundesliga outfit are set to demand for Bellingham’s services, who has three years remaining on his current contract.

And after United spent all of the previous window trying and failing to prise Frenkie de Jong away from Barcelona, they could decide to turn their attention and resources to Bellingham instead next summer.
